| When we arrived we were told there was a problem with our room and they didn't had another one for us. They offered us another hotel and paid for the taxi to get there. As I picked this hotel because it was right next to the tubestation, I asked the guy at the reception if the alternative hotel they offered was also close to a tubestation. Only a few minutes walk he said. So far so good as the alternative hotel turned out to be a 4 star hotel which looked much nicer then A.S. Lisboa and we got a gigantic room. Downside was that the guy at the reception from A.S. Lisboa lied to us, it was a 20 min. walk to the nearest tubestation thrue a neighbourhood with many prostitutes at night. |

| Clean room, badroom and bed. Decoration however restrained and not new. Not in the best area of Lisboa, but metro 10 meters away from hotel door. Furthermore parkinglot on 100 meters. |

| Tidy and convenient rooms. Noise insulated windows are OK. Slamming of doors and conversations in corridors are a little bit disturbing. (Portuguese way of life we guess) Reception is friendly. Breakfast is very good. Hotel conveniently situated next to subway (Alameda). Very fast connection with subway (one station from Alameda)) and bus 5 or 22 (Areeiro) to Airport. |

| Superb hotel, one of the best I've stayed in. Very well situated, view from top is stunning (on a clear day the statue of Christ on the opposite bank of the Tejo is visible) and next to a Metro station. Room was spotless and spacious. Food excellent - very wide selection of items available on breakfast buffet. |
