| Modern, efficient and nicely decorated hotel. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Not much of a view, though. Adequate, but not exceptional breakfast buffet. Although the immediate surroundings are not particularly appealing (Vila Galé Opera is located below the 'Ponte de 25 Abril' bridge and near a busy express road), the hotel is conveniently situated for both business and leisure travellers : 5 mins walk to Congress Centre, 20 minutes walk to the superb monuments of Belem. And those who don't mind crossing the express road (footbridge about 200 meters from the hotel) will find a lively and welcoming 'Docklands' area, with lots of trendy bars and pleasant restaurants. |

| Hotel review: Pleasant hotel with a good service (room, restaurant, food). A bit far from touristic parts of Lisbon, but then taxis are both practical and inexpensive. Also perfect for attendance at conferences (proximity of conference centre). Safe and inexpensive underground parking is a big advantage. |

| Room - excellent Breakfast - very good, Coffee not good! Bar - not good, no atmosphere at all. Location - excellent - I was atending a conference accross the road. |

| I didn't stay at the hotel but made the bookings for my co-workers. They have good reviews and are very happy with the rooms and location (walking distance to the Congress). It would be perfect it the hotel has broadband or internet access which is very important to business travellers. Overall, they had a wonderful experience! Thank you! |
