| room was great, well kept, with superb view over Lisbon and the river Tagus. breakfast in the yard was wonderful and the 'honesty bar' (24/7 pick your own drinks and just right them down on your roomnumber) is a revalation! hotel staff was very helpfull (even had us transported to and from a reserved guarded parking area, next to the caste Sao Jorge walls). Lisbon being a great city made it an enjoyable experience, gladly to be visited again. |

| This hotel was definately a highlight of our trip. This is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed at. Most of the decorations in the hall, dining room and courtyard were so attractive they looked like they could have been part of a painting. The service was outstanding, particularly the front desk staff. Our luggage was lost for two days and they were instrumental in helping us track the luggage down. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!!!!!!!!! |
