I was not satisfied with the room I was offered on my arrival, but luckily was able to change it. We were to be two, but as my travelling companion had to cancel the trip, I arrived alone. We had booked a double but I got an "awful" single room first. On arrival the reception staff was not very kind, but the attitude changed later on. I speak some Portuguese.I stayed 5 nights. Otherwise OK.

Great location (right next to the subway station and the heart of the city, but also really close to the airport), friendly staff, a nice and cozy room... It wasn't our first time at this hotel, and we will definitely be coming back, next time we're in Lisbon.

A ok hotel... Had a few problems with them. Not everyone of the staf is helpful.. The rooms in first floor are old and without an a/c !!!! The rooms in other floors are ok.

This was an excellent hotel for the price. I needed an inexpensive base to attend a conference at the university, and this one served me well. It is VERY convenient: just across the street from the subway, an excellent cafe and a money exchange booth (a rarity in Lisbon). Very well situated. The rooms are small, but clean. There is wireless internet downstairs in the lobby area and in their cafe next door. We didn't order the room with breakfast which is 6 euros extra per day. We were content with espresso and a pastry at the cafe across the street for about 3 euros. Very helpful, English speaking concierges. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel.
