Praia Mar Hotel, Estoril

Confortable rooms & beds, almost quiet (thin walls), great shower, good service, friendly staff. Good enough breakfast except the coffee coming from a machine... Nice view over the ocean,we booked a garden view and were nicely surprised to get a sea view!!! We will be back for sure.

There are good and bad things about this hotel. The bad ones: The facade of the hotel, the pool, the chairs around it, the tv, and the elevators are really really shabby. And never let them give you a room in the 7th floor!: you will listen every step/noise in the restaurant (above this floor). The good ones: the hotel restaurant has an amazing view, the hotel is almost by the beach (a nice beach!) and the staff is nice, there are many restaurants close by, and a small shopping mall with a supermarket. The train station is also close, connecting to the whole city. There is also a taxi site outside the hotel.

Ok hotel, swimming pool area could use some maintenance.

Nice hotel with excellent view of the Atlantic Ocean. The restaurant offers good food in quiet atmosphare. A large sandy beach is only a five minutes walk away. Some noice observed from rooms located in the same floor. Related to slamming doors, I guess.
