The Hotel is great - except its not in Estoril its in Carcavelos which is a couple of stops away on the train. Its a pucker 4* hotel with a good restaurant and is conveniently next door to a small shopping mall containing a supermarket and a couple of dozen shops. The train station is about 10 mins away once you know the short cut, but about 20 if you don't. The beach is about .5 mile away and has a couple of beach snack bars etc. My only question is why would you stay in Carcavelos rather than Cascais which is much nicer. Mainly full of business people who take taxis everywhere and don't want to mix with holiday makers
