| The hotel had an authentic feel to it for its age. Classic portuguese hospitality shone through. The dinner menu whilst maintaining a traditional feel was prepared to embrace elements of modern cuisine. The room was elegantly understated with a fine view of the river. Parking could be an issue in high season, particularly with the unofficial 'parking monitors' guiding you to a spot for a fee and you then have to pay the official parking fee. The breakfast was very good and more comprehensive than just a continental breakfast. |
