Rooms Information

The Cidadela offers 130 rooms (255 beds), 6 suites and 14 apartments, all fully equipped with air-conditioning, sound-proofed windows, individual safe-deposit box, mini-bar, direct-dial telephone, satellite TV and video. All rooms are notable for their comfort and unique furniture and decoration. Most of the standard guest-rooms have a wonderful sea view facing the garden and swimming pool area.

Restaurants & Bars

At the Cidadela restaurant, our customers can find homemade gastronomy made with local ingredients, based on fresh seasonings, aromatic herbs, garlic and laurel, as well as olive oil. Traditional desserts are always available, as well as wine from the best-known regional wine cellars in Portugal. The restaurant has capacity for up to 300 persons and there is a bar.

Facilities & Services

A Swimming Pool located in the middle of a beautiful garden and supported by a snack- bar that offers pleasant light meals and salads during the season. At night we also offer themed barbecues with entertainment

Except from the bartender, the staff was unfriendly. The breakfast seemed huge, but that was just the display. Coffee and juice were bad. This hotel could do with some refurbishment and refreshment or they will have to delete the third of there once four stars :)

A good clean hotel but needs to be updated. Breakfast very good. Very good location close to centre of Cascias.Meant to be a non smoking hotel but there was a strong smell of cigarettes on our corridor. Carpets need to be replaced. Some staff were very friendly especially lady at reception, pool bar and hotel bar staff and cleaning staff but a few more could learn to smile a little. Overall good value for money

Comfortable, clean rooms with balcony and beautiful view over Cascais - bit of an up hill walk back (10 mins). Staff very helpful, breakfast good and plentiful. In need of some updates especially in bar area, but certainly good value for money.
