| We were very impressed with the standard of this hotel. The staff were very helpful without being in your face. The breakfast was very good, we even had buckfizz for breakfast! While we only had one evening meal there, it was very good, probably the nices we had during our stay. |

| Room was quite large but very dark (even with lights on)and wooden floor which was badly scratched. Breakfast ok but get to the fresh eggs and avoid 9:00 as there is a long queue. Luch service in the outside bar area was limited and service appalling - go to the nearby marina or the little cafe down the road.Staff generally not friendly. Need to provide a short cut through the garden to shorten walk to town. |

| Vila Gale is an excellent hotel all round-very clean, beautiful large bedroom&lovely large bathroom-we particulary liked the tiled floor in bedroom as opposed to carpet. Breakfast was excellent served in a very pleasent dining room. The location of the hotel was brilliant-right beside the marina and just nice walking distance to centre of Cascais. |
