| Our 1st time in Vilamoura. Hotel was ideal for relaxing holiday. Has all amenities, is located within a couple of minutes of the marina's shops and bars and is lucky to have a well-trained and good-humoured staff who succeeded in making our stay a memorable one. Excellent buffet breakfast. Will be recommending the Ampalius and will stay there again whenever we return to Vilamoura. |

| 2 double rooms were upgraded on check-in to a senior suite!! How nice!! A two-storey apartment within the hotel. Huge.Great views, pool area very nice, beach great, towels in room and for pool very large. Staff very helpful. Housekeeping could be improved. Buffet breakfast was the largest imaginable. |
