The Metropol Hotel was built in the sixties and after the recent renovation it is a modern hotel in the city. | The rooms are looking very tired and in need of renovation. Service was good however as was the Hotel bar and food. Main plus for this hotel is it's location to center and main train station. |

| The hotel is well situated right in the centre of the city and near all kinds of communication. That means that the trafic outside is a bit disturbing. The rooms and the beds are OK but the view from the window is rather strange as you are looking through a screen used for advertising. The breakfast buffet is abundant. Unfortunately the environment is very noisy with different TV or radio programs at the same time (Sic!). |

| The rooms were a bit old, without any charm. However the service was good, and the breakfast nice. |

| I’ve chosen the Metropol Hotel due to its location and rate and I got what I’ve expected from a 3-stars hotel. The hotel was clean and quite with traces from seventies. It was to warm in the room and no air condition. Concerning to the location it wasn’t possible to keep the window open during a longer period due to the traffic noise and exhaust. However, the location was very convenient - absolutely central part of Warsaw with good connection or walk distance which is big advantage if you have limited time. The breakfast buffet was fresh and satisfactory. Good service. I’ve booked a single room but have been upgraded to an apartment due to the lack of single rooms and no extra charge. Conclusion - I got value for money. |

| Service at the desk when we came was not very polite. The middle aged woman was not very polite to take us to hotel. Breakfast at hotel was very good also the personal there were polite. Location was also very good, but it was not very nice that the balcony and windows were covered with a huge ad. The room was ok but not very cosy, it remembered me soviet time. Also there were big piece of nails in the carpet next the bed. That wasn´t very nice to find.. |
