This hotel is warm and comfortable . I went in with 2 ppl byt the booking was only for 1. The woman on the desk said that she cannot do anything as it was fully booked. Then she gave me the option to stay in the single room with 2 ppl and pay 2 persons price. I think it should have been discounted but cant say too much. The last time i came i had a nice big room. This time i was on the 2nd floor where all the building works was, no view except for scaffolding and had no tv but she did mention it before i paid additional costs. Well good thing is after a days out, there was a tv in the room on the second day. it was quite a suprise and there was a viewing on the pron channel which they tried to charge me for but must have been the instaltion people who watched it. The plastic curtain didnt stck to my body this time. it actually stayed where it was and the toilet was a little bit bigger i felt. The leniency of staff and thinking about my comfort was great but the noise is still bad for this hotel. It will be going on for a while. But its good to get you out of bed for a day of site seeing. Not good if you want to sleep till nightfall

Its reviews and also hotel have notified me in advance and on the day of the maintenance work going on. They have also tried to reduce the noise in the morning from 7am but still managed to wake me up. And the water was contaminated on the night i stayed and told me as soon as i came to the desk on the way out BUT not while i was in the room. Nice cheap hotel and rooms were good but bed was dusty. Room was warm and the view was great. Even though i was on the 10th floor it still didnt avoid the noises going on as they were worked up to my level outside. Overall a not bad if you can sleep early and wake up early which most norwegians do.

This hotel is undergoing massive reconstruction & more resembles a building site. For a Great Western Hotel I was extremely disappointed. The room was very small.Most of the staff at reception were very helpful.The location is perfect,within walking distance of city center

Now this hotel is not a "Best Western" Hotel .this hotel is localised near the railway station and the room are small but clean. The staff is efficient and carrefully.
