The Yeego experience was user-friendly, quick and efficient. I'm still amazed at how you get such good hotel deals. Many of your competitors don't seem to beat you on price and value for money.
Most notably I like Yeegos price quotes for an entire stay, not quotes based on the average nightly price like so many other hotel reservation websites do.

Location Overview
The Scandic Byporten is superbly situated in the city centre at Oslo Central Railway station. You can walk directly from the airport express train to the hotel without going outdoors. The central location is an excellent base for visits to all parts of Oslo, with trains, buses and taxis at the hotel entrance. Oslo's famous Karl Johan Street starts right outside Scandic Byporten. The distance to the Oslo Gardermoen Airport is approximately 40 km

Hotel provides accommodation in 240 guest rooms, 180 of which are non-smoking rooms, 10 rooms for the disabled and 4 suites. All rooms are equipped with work desk, mini-bar, cable TV, broadband Internet, in-house movies and a private en-suite bathroom
Restaurants & Bars
Guests are invited to enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet served every morning in the hotels breakfast room. Restaurant Egon is part of the Norrein Group, a company of hotels and restaurants in Norway. Egon is the perfect place to enjoy a good meal in an informal atmosphere. As a guest at Scandic Byporten you can of course charge your restaurant bill to your hotel bill. The hotel lobby is a popular meeting place for our guests. Our younger guests can enjoy Sigge's playroom, while adults can relax in the adjacent lobby bar where various beverages and light dishes are served.
Facilities & Services
The hotel has an agreement with the SATS fitness center in Oslo Spektrum and they sell day cards in the reception. The fitness center is equipped with modern cardio-vascular equipment and free weights.
Business Facilities
The hotel is popular for small meetings, with its two meeting rooms. Both rooms are bright and pleasant, one room recommended for up to 18 persons and the other for up to 10 persons. In addition they have ordinary equipment such as flip over, an equipment suitcase, over-head, video and projector

Location of this hotel is very good. The floor in the room was dirty and under the bed looked like it had not been cleaned for weeks. I will not stay here again.

Certainly the biggest benefit of the Scandic Hotel Byporten is the fact that it's slap bang in the middle of Oslo, adjacent to the train station. Despite its busy location, I had a quite room with a nice view onto the sea. The bed was pleasantly large, however, the room could have been a little bit cleaner. At an international hotel I had expected some international TV channels, which weren't there. Staff was nice, freindly and helpful and I think I might use the hotel again, especially given the excellent value for money deal I got.

We picked this hotel because we took the Norway in a Nutshell train from Bergen which didn't get into Oslo until 10:30 so I wanted to stay somewhere close to the station. It's right next door. The room was very clean and modern and the hotel is in walking distance to most attractions. The breakfast was the best I've had in Europe. The hotel was more then what we usually pay but was worth it.
