On arrival room was quiet and clean. Comfortable bed. Unfortunately these standards did not continue. Rubbish bins and replacing of items like toilet rolls/towels never happened without complaining to reception. Reception staff were pleasant but the remaining hotel staff were unfriendly/unhelpful. Our room was very warm, opening windows was problemtaic due to it overlooking a busy street with traffic noise. No air con and the fan supplied was inadequate for the room size. Breakfast buffet was poor compared to the other (cheaper) hotels we stayed in during our trip to Norway & we often had to wait for a spare table. I would not recommend this hotel if other options are available.

Rooms were clean and comfortable Included Breakfast was awesome,great selection, we ate on the deck over the water. Location was close to the ferry service and fish market. Bus to Airport is couple blocks away (by the fish market)

The location was great with a wonderful view over to the Bryggen. Right on the water's edge. Room was quite small but totally adequate. The staff at reception and in restaurant very helpful.

My husband & I stayed 2 night both before & after our cruise. First room was very quiet with large modern bathroom. On our return our second room was a family room, so VERY spacious. We appreciated this and thevery comfortable bed after our cabin! The staff are most helpful, and organising a 4.30am breakfast on our last day was done with no effort. I appreciated having internet access and being able to let our family in Australia know we were OK and telling them about our trip thus far. Would definitely recommend this hotel
