Avenue Hotel, Amsterdam

The hotel was very near to the central station and to the center of Amsterdam. The staff was very kind and the breakfast was good. I enjoyed staying there

Excellent hotel close tocentre but also very quiet - kids loved their attic room rooms clean - food excellent

First impressions weren't good. Person at front desk was not very helpful. Room was small and old looking. The shower had 2 temperatures, freezing cold or burning hot. And there are NO tea/coffee making facilities in the room. There is an air conditioner, but it is STILL not connected. However, you could not ask for a better location for touring. Everything was within walking distance. And the buffet breakfast was excellent. Plenty of food and lots of variety. Other people on the front desk were much more friendly and helpful. I recommend using the shuttle service from the airport. It was 21 euro per person return.

Nice, big, quiet and confortable triple room. The sheets are clean but the daily cleaning isn't that good. They even skipped one day. The personnel is nice with one excepcion in the restaurant. The breakfast is very good. The hotel is weel located in the center of the city.

Hotel is good with good location and service. Nice breakfast, and have high speed wireless internet in Lobby. Very close to the central train station.

Hotel room small but nice

Hotel great location and staff very attentive. Room spotlessly clean and adequate size. Breakfast excellent choice and replenished frequently. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit

Hotel is ideally situated near to the central station, depsite this its very quiet, with no noise or disturabnce at night. Breakfast was very good. On the downside, the room was very small, and it was too hot, even with the radiator switched off. I would, however, stay there again, but would recommend a room on a higher floor where you could have the windows open without being disturbed by the extractor vents from the kitchen (but there is no street noise at all)
