Location Overview

De Looier Hotel a former Diamond Factory built in 1886 and has been renovated in 2009 to a comfortable hotel in modern style. It is situated in the historic heart of the city known as the Jordaan (garden), Amsterdam’s picturesque area with a unique atmosphere, thanks to its cozy cafés, art galleries and local boutiques. The hotel is located in a quiet street, still only a five minute walk away from the vibrant Leidseplein with hundreds of restaurants, trendy clubs, hip cocktail bars coffee, shops and the casino. Amsterdam’s main attractions such as the Museum Area, the Anne Frank House, the Jewish Museum the Royal Palace and the Red Light District are all at a walking distance of not more than 15 minutes. There also is a tram stop near the hotel.

ok, clean, near the restaurant area and museums. Not that I consider it as 3 star hotel.
