Room was realllyyyyy tiny. Didn't expect it to be this tiny! but.... hey... we got a deal for 5 days n 4 nights for two ppl. We didn't expect the Ritz. THe food, restaurant n club was excellent! priced accordingly and i'd come back for the club sandwich! Not to mention the great selection of tea. We also received two freek drinks for two people (4 drinks) from the hotel complimentary! overall the hotel is nice... but the rooms. GOT TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT. The location.... Not so close to the city centre. By tram single trip it takes between 5-10min 3.20Euro for two ppl and between 9-12 EURO by taxi. But good location cos after the hussle n bustle of the city u can come back to the hotel and have peace....

MARCH 28TH TO APRIL 1ST 2007 AFTER READING SEVERAL REVIEWS, I MUST SAY I WAS QUITE HESITANT ABOUT BOOKING ARENA HOTEL AND ACTUALLY TO BE HONEST, BECAUSE ALMOST ALL HOTELS WERE ALREADY BOOKED MADE WE A LITTLE FRIGHTEND THAT ARENA HOTEL HAD AVAILABLE ROOMS. TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT THE HOTEL WAS A NICE HOTEL FOR ITS PRICE, ROOMS WERE NOT BAD, BREAKFAST PROVIDED YOU WITH EVERYTHING YOU NEEDED AND MORE TO GET YOUR DAY STARTED. AND THE CLUB WHICH WORRIED ME MOST WASN'T BAD AT ALL, ONLY ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT MAYBE IT WAS A LITTLE NOISY BUT NOTHING TRAGIC (AND I'M NOT AN EASY SLEEPER, FOR MOST PEOPLE I DON'T THINK THERE WILL BE A PROBLEM). TO GET TO DAM SQUARE (CENTER) YOU TAKE NO.7 TRAM AND THEN THE METRO AND YOU'LL BE THERE IN ABT 15 MIN. ALL TOGHETHER

Arena was amazing. If you stay in Amsterdam and you want a comfortable experience then Arena is the spot. The rooms were more spacious than most European hotels. The hotel itself is in a perfect location close enough to all the major points yet just outside, perfect place to relax after a long day on the town. The Cafe was amazing I spent a lot of time there too. Good, cool, clean, friendly service. Just switch up the menu a bit at breakfast. I got tired of eggs everymorning. :) Arena Rocks!
