We just stayed at the Centrum Artis Hotel for 9 nights. The Hotel was nice and reception staff courteous and helpful. However, when we went to settle our account at check out, we were presented with a Bill for telephone use in excess of 500 LT. We were shocked by the amount of the Bill. My Lithuanian fiance had made calls to various family members in Vilnius. She was advised that the Hotel receives regular complaints about its phone charges and to contact the Manager. We paid the Bill in full and advised staff that we would be making a formal complaint. We made a formal complaint to the Manager who was not prepared to discount and refund a portion of the excessive phone Bill. We will not stay at this Hotel again as they don't seem to understand anything about basic Customer Relations. We plan to visit Vilnius again in 2012 and they did not have any interest in retaining our repeat business.

The hotel was good, but the room high up was small with a roofwindow. The cleaning was good and the hotel staff serviceminded and friendly. The breakfast was outstanding! You could have whatever you wanted. The location was really good, near the center and very nice in the old town.We really rekommend this hotel to other people. Thank you
