| A fine choice of hotel for Riga. The building is very nice and the location couldn't be more convenient. Rooms are excellent and the staff helpful. One negative is the main entrance to the lobby--An awkward front door swings open over several narrow steps. This can make arrival, especially with one's luggage, downright difficult. No bellhops are on duty, either, so--in my case--a young man working in Reception finally had to give assistance. Warning: As is often the case with European hotels, a "Single Room for One Person" is often small and inconvenient. Request a "Double Room for One Person" when booking. This hotel at last gave me an upgrade at no additional cost--a generous gesture--but could not do so until the final two days of a seven-day visit. On the whole, though, the hotel was a good experience. |

| Spent four nights here in mid-October and was very impressed indeed with this hotel. It is in a great location in the old part of the city, with many of the sights on your doorstep. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The decor is very modern and bright - I had a corner room on the sixth floor which was also very quiet. There was an excellent selection in the breakfast buffet and I must say that their coffee is terrific. I would certainly stay here again when next in Riga and would recommend it very highly ! |

| Very clean and pleasant hotel. Staff were all very friendly, spoke english and were extremely helpful. The breakfast was really good with a big choice. Room was very clean and serviced every day with clean towels. Would go back any time. |
