Hotel Islande was opened in March 2006 and offers all facilities and services which might be expected from a four star hotel. This brand new 4 star hotel is located across the river, in the Kipsala area, about 10-15 minutes walk from the Old Town. Hotel is located only 200 m from exhibition center, 10 km from airport and 3 km from railway and bus station

For guests comfort hotel offers 205 well-equipped rooms. All rooms are arranged in a modern reserved Scandinavian style. The Hotel offers rooms for non-smokers and smokers, non-allergic rooms, and 7 rooms for guests with special needs. All rooms are equipped with shower/WC, TV, mini-bar, direct dial telephone, Internet, air conditioner, regulated heating and hair dryer. There are in twin and double rooms two beds 100 cm x 200 cm large. Upon request of the guests, the beds may be placed together or separately

Restaurant „Reykjavik” offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. You have a great opportunity to enjoy delicious meals and wide range of drinks in a pleasant atmosphere, which is enriched by sounds of piano at nights. Near the Restaurant there is a small banquet room where you can have undisturbed business lunch or dinner. Restaurant „Arctic lights” is located on the 9th floor with a picturesque view of the Riga panorama. The menu offers wide range of delicious food, as well as good choice of drinks and cocktails

In the exclusive Hotel Islande SPA 'Blue Lagoon', you will enjoy various treatments for your body. By combining natural products and modern technology, the spa offers excellent results. A relaxation bath complex has been developed for relaxing and purifying body and soul. Nice hotel with really good Spa center. Small but clean and cosy rooms. Helpfull staff and good breakfast. Super for the very low price we payed!

ROOM WAS LOVELY ,APPART FROM THE SMELL IN THE BATHROOM, WHICH AFTER SPEAKING TO ONE OF THE STAFF THEY TOLD US IT WAS NORMAL. TO GIVE THEM SOMETHING IT DID CALM DOWN, SOMETHINGE ABOUT THE DRAINS FREEZING UP. NO COMPLAINTS. APPART FROM THE MINI BAR BEING LOCKED.NOT FUNNY AFTER A3 HOUR FLIGHT AND YOU ARE SCOTTISH.BREAKFAST WAS VERY NICE,EVEN PORRIDGE IN THE MORNING,"OK OATMEAL",SCOTTISH AGAIN BUT REALLY NICE IF YOU CAN GET BEFORE ALL THOSE VERY SMALL HUNGERY EUROPEANS IN THE MORNING. NO COMPLAINTS.BUT WATCH OUT FOR THE WHITE TAXIS THAT PICK YOU UP IN THE OLD TOWN. WE WERE CHARGED 12 LATS FOR THE TRIP TO THE HOTEL, OK, WE DID HAVE AFEW DRINKS. BUT EXCESSIVE, WITH USAUAL TAXI DRIVER LINGO. SO WATCH OUT.
