| We had a room facing to quiet backyard, which had modern decoration.Although the historical building had all new windows (old style though), which makes the side facing to the main street also quiet (restaurant was located on that side). Delicious 3-course lunch, versatile breakfast buffet. Location close to the central parks and embassy areas. Definately worth more than was charged. |

| Well situated hotel with clean & quiet room except location by a street with heavy traffic at daytime. Breakfast good average level with buffet self service (a plus). Staff had not friendly but correct service attitude. A small minus that later check-out time at final day of stay wasn't negotiable. |

| Our group of 7 found their rooms, bars and restaurant all to a high standard. The service and food were all to a similar high standard. The reception staff were excellent as were all other staff. The location was within the old town and within reasonable walking distance of shops bars etc. We had visited this hotel some 8 years ago and have found the transformation nothing short of remarkable. Would certainly visit again when in Latvia or transiting to other countries |

| Clean and fresh rooms with nice beds. The brekfast was good and plenty to choose from. The location was good, close to the old town of Riga. |

| The room was clean and tidy, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was very good, the location was a very short walking distanse from the old town. We didn't try the restaurant. Our total impression of the hotel was very good. |
