The Hotel conference facilities provide perfect seating for meetings, conferences and private function. The conference rooms of various sizes are well equipped and can host large and smaller audiences. The hotel has an excellent location. It is big and a bit dark, nothing fancy. The reception area was large with a bar - a good meeting point. Rooms where clean and simple. I just whish the staff would but a smile on their face the next time I am staying there.

The Riga is still a Soviet style hotel and the rooms are very basic and does not have hot water. The hotel is clean but any noise in the corridors comes through to the room easily...the inner rooms look over the kitchen waste areas and is not a pretty sight. I would not be recommending this hotel, but I will be recommending Riga as a beautiful place to visit.The breakfast is fine and the only service we received was at checkin but that too was fine. Their website paints a much better/nicer picture than is actually the case. Location is very good.
