Minerva and Nettuno Hotel, Venice

Great price for a hotel in central venice. Booked a room with shared bathroom. The toilet was cleaned regularly and just near our room but there was only one shower and that was on the third floor. There was a basin in the room but no plug. Breakfast good with fruit salad cereal, roll and jam crackers cheese salami.Juice, coffee tea or chocolate. Friendly reception staff. No lift and on 3 floors. We were on first floor room 16 which faced the street so some noise from passing people. A great location 4 mins from the station and vaporetto(water bus) stop with no bridges! Lots of cheaper cafes nearby. Got a margaretta pizza and beer or coke for €8 inc service charge. Also "Brek" self service restaurant.

Nice stuff, very nice breakfast, good position in town. Unfortunately A/C was working not good enough and towels were so small…

I like very munch the cleaness of the bathroom. The room are very little, but a few are big,i stayed in a big room and it's ok again. The position are very very very good. The staf are very friendly, i like that, especially the blond lady. The food it's so so, cheap.

Hotel Minerva Venedig We-2 married couples were in February, 2010 at this hotel. The greeting was very unfriendly, also the room allocation. I had booked 2 double rooms with bath, we have got only room with a tiny floor shower (1 shower for everybody!) without mirror, hairdrier.... The rooms were clean. The staff in the adoption did not speak in German, although this was announced. The hotel lay centrally.
