| The reviews on the Net were not far off about the place. It was just far enough from the tourist-infested San Marco side, about 5 minutes' walk. The Arsenale vaperetto is just 2 minutes' away. Mario is a super guy. Very helpful, and goes beyond call of duty to help you. The breakfast could have been a bit more varied though, instead of the sweet croissants and coffee. The heater wan't working for 3 days so Mario had to fix it everytime. Not his fault, he doesn't own the place. But for those minor discomforts, the place was lovely. Our room P1 was smallish and didn't have any view. Maybe you want to ask for suites with views, depends on how long you want to stay in the room, though. Will stay there again for sure. |
