Very close to train station and water bus stop
excellent reception staff - very helpful - assigned room on early check in
room was small - but ok - bed mattress and pillow very hard - clean - good housekeeping - small safe in room
very good breakfast - hot food (bacon eggs)is only warm - seems to be the way it is in europe - lots of cereal, juice, buns, fruit, ham, cheese, etc. Good coffee machine - lots of choice

Great hotel, we liked the location, away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to get to the main sights. Rooms were nice and sizeable. Breakfast good. Staff were very attentive and friendly.

We stayed at this hotel in November 2004. This time it seemed a little more frantic, with several large groups booked in. Service not quite as good as 2004 - particular difficulty in booking a table for dinner in the evening.
May consider another hotel next time.
