Location Overview
The Dell'opera Hotel is a lovely three star hotel that is located in the shadow of the La Fenice Theater, the historical theater of the Venice Opera. It is placed less than a two minute drive from the St. Mark's Square and about a ten minute drive from the Rialto Bridge. This property is just a stone's throw from the Broad Street and Calle Larga XXII Marzo, where Venice's most elegant boutiques are located.

Great hotel to stay; 15 rooms, great breakfast and very central.

We spent 4 nights in Dell' Opera at end of January. We have mixed feelings about this Hotel. The location of the Hotel is really perfect, just 2 minutes walk from St. Markt square. The hotel seems to be just refurbished in the past year. When we saw the pictures on their site, the rooms seemed normal size, however we got a very small room, normaly only one bed inside,a wardrobe, table and one chair. The bathroom had a shower, toilet, wash-basin, hair drier.Everything was clean and fells-like new. In our room there was a closed door, which connected to the next room, where waas two babies crying all day and night. We asked the hotel staff to change our room, but they didn't help. They told they are fully booked. I am not sure if it is true. In the night the heating or air-con fan was very noisy, we had to use ear plugs. The breakfast was acceptable: rolls, croissant, salami and ham, cheese, boiled egg, orange and pineapple juice, milk, coffee, yoghurt, fruit salad. So overall the Hotel is OK, not really cheap, very good location, if our room were bigger and no baby crying and without noisy fan I could give about 9, but this way I can give only 7
