The only reason the hotel scores a six is the location. It is very centrally located, very close to Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge. However the hotel is a two star. My husband and I travelled from Milan to Verona and then to Venice. Our hotels in the other two cities were fantastic and very well located also! I do not know what the standard of hotels in Venice is like but I am shocked at the extremely positive reviews this hotel got, or maybe my standards are different to others that have stayed here. The room was dirty, shabby and really needs a good scrub. Bed sheets were not changed for the four days we stayed there. The breakfast is not worth getting up for and even if you do, the coffee is awful and the selection of tinned fruit and watered down juices is unappealing. The staff were unfriendly and wanted the key of the room everytime we left the hotel. There are no facilities at all at the hotel. I would never stay here again.

Great location, but not easy to find the hotel. Very friendly staff, good english, very clean rooms.
The breakfast should be more various from day to day.
