| This is a small but ravishingly stylish hotel, it even has its own little sleek dog called Fausto to go with interiors. Endearing! This hotel is one of those (few) that somehow manages to guess your private preferences, you know the small things that just make it worth it. If you order a cup of tea, they send a wooden trey with linnen napkins, snow white procelaine and four different kinds of sugar. (This is the only time I've got brown candy sugar which is what I prefer in my tea at home.)For breakfast one may choose prosecco (sparkling wine) free of charge...one can have breakfast anywhere in the hotel, also the room, and choose it manually every evening from a menu card as long as ones under arm. The bathroom was sprouting a well of different (exellent!) products for ones convenience... fluffy bath robes and slippers...you name it. WONDERFUL!!! With all the complimentary things and services it's actually worth the price. Location is secluded, but idyllic. Not much restaurants nearby. One have to take the vaporetto (water bus) to get to most places. But darling, if you enjoy genuine old style perfection, treat yourself to this one.... |
