I was allocated a room in the annex rather than the main hotel. I suspect that this was because I was a single person with a double room. The room was fine but there were only views of an alley wall from the windows. Breakfast goood and I would use hotel again if visiting venice as some good restaurants nearby.

on arrival at hotel ai mori we were told there was a problem with electric and water supply to 15 rooms and we were to be moved to sister hotel - columbina- for first 2 nights this was very near st marks square and very good hotel we went via a water taxi something we probably would not have afforded on a budget break, after 2 nights we were moved back so it was good to stay in 2 different parts of venice. Food was good at both hotels staff were friendly and helpful and rooms spacious in both
