Excellent hotel,in an ideal location for sightseeing. We were very impressed with the quality of rooms, and also the friendly and professional staff(particularly the Concierge). If I had one criticism,it would be the small and slow lift to our room on the top floor - otherwise an excellent hotel and stay.

Took forever to decide on a hotel in Rome as these are so many. I am so glad I chose the Hotel Mascagni. Ideally located for walking to Spanish Steps, Collisseum, Pantheon and Trevi. A bit of a longer walk to the Vatican, but the yellow open topped bus stops just outside the hotel where you can jump on and off at your leisure. The hotel is immaculate, just undergone a refurb. Rooms in Rome are normally described as small but these rooms, standard double, were spacious. Breakfast was lovely, fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, eggs, croissants, cakes and preserves. The scrambled egg was fab. Both concierges, Luciano and Guiseppi were extremely helpful with directions and restaurants, and everything you needed to know about Rome. We truly did find the Jewel in the Crown - well worth a visit.

Quiet rooms, although a little on the small side. Wonderful concierge who knew all the best restaurants and was able to get us reservations every night. Truly enjoyable stay.
