Residence At, open in 2007, located right in the heart of the historical center of the city, in Piazza Barberini, at only few steps from the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, Palazzo Barberini and the most elegant shopping streets of the Eternal City. The square in which is the Residence AT is close to the famous Via Veneto and its "Dolce Vita". Restaurants, clubs, snack-bar and shops are all around. Symbol of the area is the Trevi Fountain that derives its name from its position at the intersection of three roads ("tre vie"). Walking through the streets of this central and historical district, you will also discover many ancient churches, such as the Sant'Andrea delle Fratte and many prestigious buildings, such as the "Scuderie Papali", some of which host nowadays famous art galleries. The Residencet AT has 3 floors and since the building is from the 17th century there is no elevator. Most of the rooms faces the magnificent Tritone Fountain, symbol of Piazza Barberini. This fountain, a work by Bernini (1642), is located in the center of the square; the composition, four dolphins which support two valves on which is seated a triton who blows water through a shell held up in his hands, is an happy example of Roman Baroque.
