Location Overview
La Fenice Hotel is enviously positioned in the heart of the ancient city of Rome. The hotel is near the various Roman architectural buildings and art galleries. The hotel is actually established in an 18th century property and is close to the Spanish Steps, Tervi Fountain and Quirinale Palace. The business center is also near by and the Barberini underground station is at a distance of only 300 m from the hotel. Both the Fiumicino, Ciampino airports are within a comfortable distance from the hotel, being located at a distance of 15 and 25 km respectively. Some of the other interesting places the tourists can visit are Basilica of S. Maria Maggiore, Vatican city, the Spain square, Basilica of San Pietro, Colosseo, the Venice square and the Veneto street.

Do not take under any circumstances the room number 202 named Picasso. Room smells smuggle you. Superior Room 101 but he turns to the front so it is noise. Reasonable breakfast. Excellent location. Reception: Everybody on the phone all the time except for a nice lady. Airconditioning-does not work. "this is your problem". WI FI computer costs 3 euros per hour. So do not expect to get it free. Perhaps worth adding a few dozen euros rent 4 star hotel up the road.

The hotel is located on great place, nearby the Metro, Piazza trivoni and other sites are only 20 minutes walking away, but the rooms are quite small.
The service is great - and the reception people helped us a lot with their tips and guidance:)
