Bettoja Hotel Atlantico is a beautiful four star hotel that was built in 1912 on the highest of Rome’s seven hills, the Esquilino Hill. It is situated within walking distance of the Termini railway station and the main underground terminal. Reception early morning on arrival from the airport was exceptional. He even offered us a free breakfast (which we didn't need but the coffee was good and gratefully accepted). Our room was ready by 10 am which was also great. We asked for a quiet room and were allocated a room on the 3rd floor at the rear and it was very satisfactory. When we returned after our 20 day cruise we were allocated a bigger room I think on the 5th floor and it was even better. Breakfasts buffet style had everything anybody would need. The Atlantico on Via Cavour was so convenient to the Termina and so much better than the 3 star Hotel Aberdeen which our travel agent had booked us in on the last night in Rome for a price in Australian dollars that was higher than the Atlantico booked through yeego.com.
