Each one of these rooms has a patio with a table and chairs. On the ground floor of the Castle there are 21 comfortable and elegant suite duplexes, some of which directly lead onto the Castle’s terrace with a beautiful view of the Straits. Some are built on two levels that separate the night area from the living area, connected by stairs. There are 11 Junior suites in the Castle and 6 in the Sporting all elegantly furnished, spacious and equipped with all modern comforts. In these suites you can admire the works of many contemporary artists that are a part of the Altafiumara’s art collection. The four suites situated in the Castle and the 36 suites situated in the Sporting welcome their guests into an elegant and exclusive environment full of warmth and charm, ideal for leisure or business trips. The 110 m² presidential suite, “Fata Morgana”, is on the first floor of the Castle. It has a breath-taking view of the sea framed by Sicily, which seems so close that you could almost touch it. The Fata Morgana Suite, on the first floor of the Castle, has its own entrance-hall, two rooms with respective bathrooms (the main one with a Jacuzzi bath and shower) and a large and luxurious lounge. The sophisticated internal design is characterised by elegant furnishings and pink, tobacco and gold tones.

The “I Due Mari” restaurant offers a gastronomic experience that is both tasteful and refined. The sun-filled Mediterranean cuisine is genuine and fragrant with just a touch of the exotic. In an elegant and informal setting, the restaurant can seat 90 people and has a splendid terrace with a wonderful view of the Straits of Messina. There is also a special low-calorie menu for those being treated at the Wellness centre “Notos”. Directed by the sommelier Leonardo Callipo, the “Academy of Wine” is the ideal place for wine lovers. Deep in the former dungeons of the Castle, amidst antique vaults and historic reminders, there are 4,500 bottles of 300 different types of wine. Here you can find some of the best national and international wines, jealously guarded in the vaults, which form an impressive wine list. Frequent appointments, open to all wine buffs, offer the ideal opportunity to discover and taste the latest wine tendencies. The bar, which is on the bottom floor of the Castle, is the ideal place to visit for a break and enjoy a drink or a quick snack. Besides the elegant lounges, the Castle also offers a large panoramic terrace that overlooks the Straits of Messina. Inspired by modern minimalism, the “Sporting” lounge bar is a sophisticated and comfortable area characterised by large windows looking out over the open-air swimming pool. Informal aperitifs and fresh cocktails for relaxing breaks. On summer evenings it’s a wonderful place for exclusive parties surrounded by the lights twinkling over the Straits. In the main room of the Wellness centre “Notos”, situated on the bottom floor of the Sporting, you can find the Herb Tea Bar, which is dedicated to those who wish to try one of the various herb teas prepared purposely for “Notos” by the best research laboratories in this field. These herb teas are included in the harmonious journey to well-being proposed by the Wellness centre.
