Most notably I like Yeegos price quotes for an entire stay, not quotes based on the average nightly price like so many other hotel reservation websites do.

The location was superb - 10 meters from Duomo! But that was also the biggest disadvantage because of the noise in the evening and during the night - tourists shouting, ambulances... But the hotel in itself was very stylish old palazzo-type, big room, very clean also. The reception was helpful, a bit strict though. Breakfast ok. In general very good value for your money!

First of all, great location if you like to stay central!!! Other reviewers were complaining about the noise: we slept with open window and ear plugs (easy solution!), and had absolutely no problem with the noise. Just like any other urban enviroment! Duomo is accross the street, and everything else is real close. Huge room! Super high ceilings. Tastefully decorated, shabby chic. Good heating, we were there in the winter, very cold out, but the room had A/C, so we could adjust the temperature and get warm! Our room had a great view: unfortunately the palace across the street was being painted, so the scafoldings took away from the view of the Duomo. Good breakfast. Nice staff.
We could have used more pillows, and here is a weird complaint: really strangely designed toilet bowl with a cut off front that doesn't work well for girls! Nothing major but annoying. Otherwise, the bathroom was all right, clean,with a "pop up" shower door and with great water pressure and plenty of hot water.
Overall, a very good experience, and highly recommended for a stay in Florence!
