Grand Hotel Cavour, Florence

Grand Hotel Cavour is located in the very heart of town between the Cathedral and ancient Old Palace/Palazzo Vecchio, opposite the Bargello, close to the Uffizi Gallery and to the Old Bridge/Ponte Vecchio and very near the house where Dante Alighieri was born. In the course of the total restoration and modernisation of the building, used as a hotel since the end of the last century, both the external and internal architecture has successfully been preserved in spite of the use of the most advanced techniques.
