We know this place well and have stayed there many times.A former monastery it has a quiet ambience and lovely rooms. They serve a great breakfast and have a bar facility but no other meals. The local bus takes you to the Duomo in 15 mins (or a quick cheap taxi). Its secret is a large 4th floor balcony with a stunning view over Florence.Sit there with drinks - nothing better.
