Stylish hotel, great location, fabulous breakfast but cleanliness of bathroom extremely poor and subdued lighting in bar made it impossible to see drinks menu in the evening!. Thought on day of arrival that extreme yellow/brown around bath/tiles was staining and also grey on and around extractor vent. On closer inspection found just dirty. Commented to desk when checking out next morning (and completed comment card). Surprised that response was merely that housekeeping would be informed.
Only lighting in bar when we called in for a drink was one tea-light per table - no background lighting. Commented to server who replied that it was impossible and that we ought to have been in earlier when the music was playing - then you can neither hear nor see!
think we'd give somewhere else a try next time!

I arrived at 2.00 a.M. And was very well received. The room was great. In the morning they could not have been more helpful in getting me a cab and seeing me one my way. I will definitely stay here again.
