We stayed at the hotel for one night. Unfortunately, it was the night of a large christmas party that was very drunk and noisy. Not being able to sleep, i went to the lobby to read as there was not another public space in the hotel. Stumbling drunks and a "bouncer" that ask me to sit somewhere else tainted the visit. I ask the "bouncer" where i should retire to read and he said he was just doing his job to ask me to leave the lobby. I am not sure why they treat their paying guests that way while allowing drunks to run the hotel freely. The knights bar offered good food and service. All in all i think it would have been better without the christmas party. As a one night stayover it was fine. I would stay in town if the visit was longer.
