My husband and I stayed 2nts at the Jury's Croke Park Dublin Aug 08. We picked this hotel as the reviews on several sites were faultless - the hotel is more expensive than others that we looked at but we put our fair in previous travellers. We caught the 'Aircoach' from Dublin airport which dropped us 5 mins away from the hotel door. The hotel is directly opposite Croke Park, I can imagine that the hotel is quite lively on match/concert days (not always a bad thing)...The security in the hotel is very good - we both felt safe during our stay. The room was clean and comfortable and had the luxury of ice machines in the corridors. Breakfast very good, though too expensive if paying seperately. The location for us was ideal, only a 15min walk to O'Connell st and 25mins to Temple Bar. We passed a number of hotels that I'd considered booking and all I can say is thank goodness I didn't!! I would certainly class the hotel as a 4STAR (Definately not a 5 like some suggest though)...A good tip to reduce your spending whilst in Dublin as it's very expensive - eat your main meal at lunchtime - Temple bar do some great deals - but at night it's really expensive for the same meals! Give The Temple bar pub a go on an evening - a great shindig everynight!!

Bedroom very comfortable and clean shower very nice. If I could have one fault with the hotel it is the price of food and drink, which I found to be very expensive. To pay €3.90 for a cup of coffee seems to be a complete rip off. I would stay in the hotel again but would not buy food there.
