When speaking of the accommodation in the hotel, the only standard is high. All rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated in modern design, whereby only finest fabrics and materials have been used. Some of the rooms overlook the atrium or the Grand Boulevard, while other overlook the courtyard or lively Harsfa Street. Grand Hotel Royal provides 285 superior rooms, 98 Executive rooms, 6 junior suites, 22 deluxe suites, 2 Ambassador suites and a presidential suite. Restaurants & Bars

Le Bar is an elegant and relaxing lounge serving light snacks and an ideal place to meet for an aperitif or an after dinner drink. A pianist provides live entertainment. The Royal Kávéház & Conditorei is a traditional Hungarian pastry and coffee house serving an extensive range of delicacies, coffees, teas and chocolates. For a truly unique dining experience, the Rickshaw Far Eastern Restaurant offers authentic dishes from across the Orient in an atmosphere, which complements the traditional arts and materials of the Far East. In the adjacent Sushi bar, a specialist chef creates dishes, which are almost an art form, to the delight and anticipation of the watching diners. Brasserie Royal & Terrace is located next to the main lobby with indoor and atrium seating. This lively French `open kitchen` restaurant is available throughout the day serving buffet breakfast and á la Carte menu for both lunch and dinner. It is also an ideal spot for casual and business meetings. The Bistro Royal provides fresh seafood and daily changing rotisserie specialties. The menu includes French and Hungarian dishes as well as gourmet sandwiches

Room was excellent, very clean, nice bathroom and comfortable beds. Ate in brasserie on first evening which was fairly expensive but very pleasant. Breakfast was excellent and found staff at breakfast, particularly friendly especially what appeared to be breakfast manager who was a charming man. Beware that bottle of water provided in room costs a fortune, felt this should have been complimentary.

The room was very comfortable, gorgeous bathroom; the service was friendly and respectful, the breakfast wonderful with lots of choice; the hotel has been renovated in an excellent manner without being over-luxurious, it exudes its fin-de-siecle grand-hotel history (1880s); a spectacular is the spa in the basement, directly accessible from the corridor outside your bedroom.

Hotel in very central location. We were very pleased with the room and the service provided throughout our stay. Excellent breakfast and staff could not have been more helpful. We would recommend this hotel to others and would definetely stay there again. It was perfect for a weekend break.

in this hotel the staff from the chamber maid to the doorman to the reception staff made you feel welcome and a respected guest. The only down side was the television in the room which had no satellite tv and hardly any english speaking programmes. Breakfast was well displayed and good choice. I would return if visiting Budapest again.
