Spotless renovated rooms provide excellent comfort while the odd architecture and the 70s communist-chic styling of the entrance and restaurant provide a sense of place that is so often lacking in other large 4* hotels. To some extent hotel budapest is like an "unintended" design hotel. If we'd have to say something negative, it would be about the quality of the breakfast : quite bland and uninspired.

The hoel budapest is a good hotel in a good location close to public transportation and all the sites in buda.
The staff were pleasant and helpful. The only complaint is that their rate for internet in the lobby is much too high.

A short tram ride into the city centre, this hotel in the buda hills was ideal for a weekend break. The reception staff were particularly friendly and helpful. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay !
