Location Overview

Hotel Rubin is located at the Buda-side of Budapest, nestled in the heart of a beautiful green-belt suburb and providing excellent connections and very easy, quick access to any part of the capital with public transport. The Highway M1 connecting the capital with Vienna as well as the inlet section of the Highway M7 linking Budapest and Lake Balaton are very near to the hotel. Minibus transfer is provided twice every morning for the hotel guests to downtown

Hotel provides a total of 82 cozy rooms, which include 50 classic rooms, 20 suites and 14 apartments with kitchen. All rooms are furnished with satellite TV, radio, phone and mini-bar. Most of the rooms are air-conditioned

For the guest’s additional comfort, hotel provides 24 hrs room service, photocopying, faxing, computer and internet facilities in the business centre, transportation to downtown twice every morning, private parking area, safety deposit boxes at the reception, currency exchange services, wake up call and doctor on request. This time, the stay was not so satisfactory:little irritating confusions at arrival (first bedroom proposed and refused incomfortable with bed in bad condition ); then bedroom given with twin beds instead of single bed asked. Early noise of works and repairs being done in one wing.Parking no longer free: 8 € per night So not totally satisfied this time. I hope next time will be better; maybe in another hotel

Modern hotel with good basic facilities.In process of having some rooms updated whilst we were staying there.A little way out of Budapest city which necessitated a bus and a train journey,however transport transport links were quick and easy so this wasn't a problem. We only had Continental breakfast at the hotel which was not very inspiring but totally adequate. Hotel rooms were slightly dated but as mentioned earlier renovations were underway during our stay. Overall I would say it was a perfectly suitable hotel for our needs.

Rooms, service and food are all right. The location near downtown is particularly convenient.

Everyone at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. The room was nice. The food in the restaurant and snack shop was very good. We enjoyed the hotel alot. The only thing is the hotel needs to give better directions on how to find their hotel.

We were very pleased with the Rubin hotel. The staff were very friendly & extremely helpful. The rooms were spotless & very spacious. We went to the restaurant for a meal & found the food to be very good. The location was good, the main road was only a few minutes walk where you could get a bus to the metro station & go into town. I would definitely return there.
