| This hotel is a tired hangover from the Communist era, so the photo was a bit deceiving. But what we got was in line with the low cost: basic room, clean but with 3 TV channels only, no telephone (had to use the one in the lobby) but plenty of hot water, a balcony overlooking the city and a simple breakfast included. The service on the desk was adequate. The hotel did a substantial load of laundry for us at a reasonable price. Location was far from the centre of town, high in the hills, in a residential area, but on a well-served bus line. Parking was outside and supposed to be guarded but the guard was mainly hanging out in the lobby. The strangest characteristic was the very high vacancy rate: one night, there were only 2 rooms booked. |
