Hunguest Platanus Hotel is conveniently located on the pest side of the city in an excellent environment opposite of the Népliget Park, very close to metro (line M3) and is very easy to approach from the direction of the airport. It takes around 10 minutes by metro, bus or tram to reach the centre of Budapest. The nearest metro stop is at Népliget, in walking distance (200 meters) from the hotel, Underground Blue Line (M3). The distance to the airport is about 15 km

A bit out of town, but close to metro. Room was clean and breakfast was adequate. Car parking cost extra 2000HUF per day.

Older than it looks in the pictures, both the building and furniture. But the staff is nice and the location is close to the subway (direct line to center). Overall a good experience for this price.

Our stay at the Platanus Hotel was very pleasant. Our room was big and everything was very clean. The restaurant was very nice but we only ate there at breakfast. there was a huge selection of foods at breakfast. the hotel was also very close to a metro station and it took just 5-10 minutes To the city centre. overall great trip and all the staff were very pleasant.

Very nice welcome. The only shortcoming is the tap water which is yellow...
