This 3 star hotel has the same age as the Hungarian capital Budapest dates back to 1872 when three towns: Pest, Buda and Obuda were united. Today the building preserves from more than 100-year-old past, of course, the excellent traditions only. The age-worn house was closed in 1976, and later on it was even pulled down, and the modern three-star Hotel Erzsebet was opened in the summer of 1985 in its place |

| Clean adequate room. Good shower facilities. Staff friendly and helpful. Food plentiful if a little strange! Great central location. Excellent value for money. |

| hotel and room very clean, stayed for 3 nights, staff friendly breakfast good choice - usual continental stuff yogs cereal, ham cheese plus srambled eggs and sausages(like hotdogs).You ciuld order fried or boiled eggs and also bacon.We didnt bother but viewed the next tables eggs were very runny.Location of hotel very good bars and places to eat just in minuites walk.Main shopping area (international stores)was just left turn out of hotel.Would definately stay again if going back to budapest. |

| The rooms were of good size,clean,warm and there was always hot water. The only bad thing is that there is no special view from the hotel,but it is in walking distance from a pedestrian street(Vaci). There was 24h reception with helpful staff. |
