rooms were good size bathroom beautifull,cleaned every day everything you needed was there.staff were excellent from you arrived at the front door to you left the breakfast was first class there was something for every palate from smoked salmon to a cooked breakfast the hotel was very central perfect for walking everywhere overall definatly five star.

We were given an upgrade and couldn't fault the room. Spacious, comfortable andd everything spotless. Complimentary slippers, bathrobe and chocolate on the pillow of our turned down bed every night. The buffet breakfasts are fabulous, but when the restaurant gets busy there can be a bit of pushing. We didn't eat in the hotel in the evening, but we had coffee and cakes and evening drinks there. Obviously a bit more expensive than outside, but the live piano music and the staff(and the comfy sofas)were worth it. The 'Kempinski' cake is great. The hotel's situation, right in the centre of Pest, means there is not much of a view, but you are within walking distance of everything. From the minute we arrived until we left, we found all the staff to be friendly and welcoming. We will go back to Budapest later in the year and this is definately where we will stay.
