| Very good hotel |

| The view is what makes this hotel. Stunning views of the Acropolis makes up for its location and other minus points. Rooftop pool facility was excellent as usual. The breakfast is normally good, though the hot food was actually cold as the staff were not checking that it was being kept warm. The coffee from the machine was poor. Other than that, it was fine. Our room was quite small but was clean. |

| We had the luck to end up on floor 11, where the rooms was newly decorated (designer style with frosted glass etc) and we had a stunning view of the city. No balcony on this floor, but a minimal "French" balcony with room for 3 standing people. Floor 10 had huge balconies. One disappointment was that the rooftop pool was closed, actually the entire area was closed and we would've liked sitting in the sun some, eventough we visited in April, which for us Swedes ment summer-weather with temperatures above 20 degrees. The greeks fancied wearing winter clothing though, so maybee they just couldn't imagine that someone would like to access the pool area. The neigborhood was a little rough, the alleys felt a little scary after dark with drugs and prostitution nearby. Keeping to the main street up to Omonia was ok though. Overall the location was good for our walking excursions around the city, although a location 15 minutes closer to Plaka / Monasteraki etc would have stopped me from burning as much fat as I did. The personell was friendly, and helpful. Cleaning good. No good TV-channels. Overall I would definately consider returning to this hotel! |

| The hotel lacks non-smoking rooms. One of the rooms was really stinking excessively smoking. One bed in each room brooke down just when we sat down on the side. ( And we are normally sized people...) and we felt the spirals in the beds while trying to sleep. We told the reception and they send someone to mend the beds. It was leaking water from the ceiling of the bathroom every night when we used the aircondition, and in the morning the floor was wet... The roofgarden with its view over Acropolis and Pireus and the nice refreshing pool was wonderful. Well located; close to Omonia metro station, from where it's easy to reach the airport as well as all those interesting spots of Athens you may want to visit. |
