Winters Munich City Centre Hotel (formerly Hotel Ludwig) is ideally situated in the heart of Munich. The sites and attractions of the Bavarian capital can be reached within a few minutes. The Pedestrian Precinct with Munich's largest and oldest established department stores lies within a walking distance. The Oktoberfest and Central Station are also close to the hotel. It rakes around 50 minutes to reach the hotel from Munich’s Franz Josef Strauss International Airport.

I was put to a smoker's room without asking. The noise isolation to the corridor was bad: carpeted floor should be on corridor, not in a room. Cheap hotel, except very nice breakfast (incl. Weisswurst!). Wifi was available (to the 1st floor at least) although I did not expect it. Extremely convenient location next main trailway station (incl. S/U-Bahn).

Location was excellent. Breakfast was good. First room (twin) had a totally wet carpet but we got another one (unfortunately double). A bit noisy but earplugs helped. Bed was terrible. Very hard and had these plumps (?). Hurt my shoulder and back while sleeping.

This hotel is a very good one. I travelled with my sister. We had a quite big room, and everything was clear. Actually it was a smoking room (I didn't know that) but I didn't smell anything. The breakfast was excellent you could choose anything you wanted. At the weekend you can have breakfast until 11, and check at 12:00. :-) The railway station is next to the hotel so this location is very good. The centre was just a little walk. One thing I didn't like it was 1 euro to let the luggage there on the last day. But it doesn't matter that much.

Fantastic location right across the road from the station, convenient when getting the airport shuttle bus. Room dated but appears to be undergoing renovation. Staff helpful and friendly.
