Really enjoyed our stay at the Courtyard by Marriott in Munich. With the exception of one front desk clerk, staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was excellent - clean, very comfortable beds and pillows, air conditioning, mini bar fridge,... everything for comfort. Buffet breakfast was outstanding with large selection including hot breakfast items and the coffee was great! Location of the hotel is only 1 block from the main train station and is centrally located which makes it easy to get anywhere. Would highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Extremely comfortable, large rooms, hotel fully air-conditioned (a great plus at temperature around 30 C. at the end of May), attention to detail (small things like a spot-light reading lamp which does not disturb your sleeping partner), a ray of light under the bathroom door which makes it easy to find the bathroom in the dark without need to switch on the light, a string in the bathroom for hanging small laundry like underwear or stockings without the need to hang them on chairs, light fixtures, etc. Excellent breakfast, a small non-stocked refrigeration (there is a vending machine of reasonably-priced beverages and snacks in the lobby), ice-maiking machine and shoe cleaner on every floor, new furniture and bath, in short - a delight. Very convenient central location. One feels a bit uneasy at first, with all the immigrants, bars, casinos, etc. in the neighbourhood, but after a short time one feels safe and in no way threatened. Excellent price at Yeego (if you book directly at the hotel you pay double the price). I am a retired travel agent who travelled very extensively, so in all humility I know what I am talking about. Nowadays, it is seldom to find a hotel (even 5 Stars) where you can say - everything worked beautifully, staff knowledgeable and friendly, food tasty and reasonably-priced (not at all luxury hotel prices). Continue the good work and DON'T CHANGE A THING !

We stayed over Witsun period 23-27.5.08. The staff are friendly and helpful, the decor is very nice. Rooms are quite spacious (we had king sized bed) and clean and tidy. I had a couple of issues with the shower water seemingly changing temperature whilst I was in there but nothing too major. The parking is convenient although its EUR 16 a day. The hotel is near the main train station (Hauptbahnhof) and we found it easy to find coming from Neuschwanstein Castle area by car. The area is not great as per most hotels near cities train stations but it was far enough away not to bother us that much. The benefit is that you have great transport links to most of the city. Food wise, the breakfast buffet was excellent a large choice of teas, fresh fruit, cold meats, cheeses, cereals, pastries and hot food. We had an evening meal there too (its a mediterranean bistro) and the food was also really good although the service wasn't quite as good as we would expect. All things considered its one of the best hotels we've stayed in.
